The Ixia LM1000T-5 Load Module incorporates two independent ports that support 10 Mbps, 100 Mbps, or 1000 Mbps Ethernet over unshielded twisted pair cables. The LM1000T-5 multilayer interface provides flexibility for traffic generation and performance analysis across the wide spectrum of Ethernet connectivity.

the LM1000T-5 is fully compatible with the robust product line of Ixia traffic generators and performance analyzers, including the IXIA 1600, 400 and 100 chassis. Up to thirty-two 10/100/1000 Ethernet ports can be configured in a single IXIA 1600 chassis. Each LM1000T-5 provides extremely powerful and remarkably flexible traffic generation, capture, and filtering capabilities to fully test multilayer Ethernet switches, routers and the network itself.
