The Harmonic HWM8008-1 PON CWDM Passive is a passive optical module designed to combine the video and OLT optical signals in an FSAN PON/FTTP network. The 1RU module contains eight parallel optical multiplexers, each of which has an optical input for the 1550 "Video" signal, an optical input/output for the 1310/1490 "OLT" signal, and an optical input/output for the 1310/1490/1550 "Common" Signal. The HWM 8008 can therefore serve eight independent Passive Optical Networks (PONs).
